how?
during your first appointment a lifetime injury history will be taken, including surgical history, and scars on your body. treatment will involve movement tests, palpation and needling. appointments are booked 1-2 weeks apart. plan for 3-4 sessions. some people may need more. wear comfortable clothing, preferably shorts. you may ask to remove your shirt and shoes during treatment. a sports bra is recommended. hollow bore needles are used (like you would get a vaccination with). the needle is NOT left in and no medication is injected. after treatment: reducing vigorous exercise for 2-3 days post-treatment is advised to prevent strain and allow tissues to heal. plan your appointments accordingly. risks vary considerably between persons and may include: bruising, minor bleeding at site of needling (common) nausea, dizziness, lightheadedness, post treatment fatigue and soreness for a few days pneumothorax if needling over lung fields (rare)
it is common to need 3-6 appointments for optimal outcomes. initial appointments are 1 hour. follow-up appointments are 45 minutes.
please wear comfortable clothing, preferably shorts and a loose shirt. you may be asked to remove your shirt during the appointment, a sports bra is recommended.

there is a $75 cancellation fee for no shows or cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment time. please cancel or rebook prior to 24 hours before you appointment.
